Acceptance of Terms
By using this website, submitting a form, applying to a program, contacting KairoLink, volunteering, sponsoring, or donating through linked services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or submit information through it.
About the Website
This website provides information about KairoLink Foundation, its youth soccer pathways in Charlotte and The Gambia, applications, eligibility standards, donations, sponsorships, volunteering, events, and community impact.
Program Information
Program descriptions, eligibility requirements, schedules, locations, training availability, application deadlines, selection criteria, and benefits may change based on funding, staffing, athlete safety, field access, partner availability, and foundation priorities. Website content does not guarantee acceptance into any program.
Applications and Submissions
By submitting an application, contact form, volunteer inquiry, sponsorship inquiry, or other form, you confirm that the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you are authorized to provide it. If submitting information about a minor, you confirm that you are the parent, guardian, or authorized adult responsible for that submission.
Parent and Guardian Responsibility
Parents and guardians are responsible for reviewing program expectations, eligibility standards, safety requirements, consent language, and any documents provided during the application or enrollment process. KairoLink may request additional information before making a program decision.
No Guarantee of Selection or Benefit
Applying, donating, volunteering, or contacting KairoLink does not guarantee program acceptance, financial assistance, playing time, travel opportunities, college placement, professional contracts, sponsorship recognition, or any specific outcome. KairoLink makes decisions based on available resources, program criteria, safety considerations, and mission alignment.
Donations and Sponsorships
Donations are processed through Zeffy or another approved fundraising provider. KairoLink Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit. Donations may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Donors should consult a tax professional for advice about their own circumstances.
Refunds and Donation Errors
Charitable donations are generally final. If you believe a donation was made in error, contact KairoLink promptly through the Contact page or email info@kairolink.org so the request can be reviewed with the payment processor.
Third-Party Services
This website may link to or embed services operated by third parties, including Zeffy, social media platforms, maps, videos, email tools, and partner websites. KairoLink is not responsible for the content, security, availability, or policies of third-party services.

Receipts and Acknowledgments
Donors should keep their donation receipts and written records. For donations of $250 or more, IRS rules generally require a written acknowledgment containing the organization name, contribution amount or description, and whether goods or services were provided.
Use of Funds
Unless a donation is accepted for a specific restricted purpose, donations support KairoLink's charitable mission, including youth soccer development, academic support, equipment, tutoring, mentorship, program operations, safeguarding, and related administrative needs.
Restricted Gifts
KairoLink may accept restricted gifts only when the restriction aligns with the mission and can be responsibly administered. If a restriction cannot be fulfilled, KairoLink may contact the donor or use funds for the closest mission-aligned purpose allowed by law and policy.
Volunteers — Roles
KairoLink volunteer roles include coaching and assistant coaching, tutoring and academic support, mentoring youth athletes, event support, photography and videography, marketing, administration, transportation support, grant writing, and professional services such as legal, medical, nutrition, and accounting.
Volunteers — Eligibility and Screening
Volunteers who work with or around youth athletes must complete a volunteer inquiry form, provide references, and may be required to complete an interview, orientation, or background check appropriate to their role. KairoLink may decline or end a volunteer relationship at its discretion.
Volunteers — Conduct and Confidentiality
Volunteers must follow the KairoLink Code of Conduct and Child Safety & Safeguarding Policy, maintain appropriate boundaries with youth athletes, keep program and family information confidential, and report safety concerns immediately to program leadership.
Volunteers — Commitment and Supervision
Volunteers should communicate availability honestly, give advance notice of scheduling conflicts, and follow through on commitments to athletes and families. Volunteers work under the direction of KairoLink staff and should not make independent program commitments or contact athletes outside approved channels.
